Image Courtesy of OMA OMA has won an international competition to designPont Jean-Jacques Bosc, a bridge across the river Garonne in Bordeaux, France, that will link the municipalities ofBègles and Floriac. The 44m by 545mbridge, which will act as "a generous new public space" and "an urban planning intervention" for the city, giving priority to pedestrian traffic, is the first to be realized by OMA. It is scheduled for completion in 2018. 大桥坡度恶化，是理想的散步大道，桥底亦腾出了充足空间给船只航行。宽广的桥梁不足以容纳小型车辆、公交、自行车和步行等各种交通模式，不过行人空间仍然占到主导地位。

OMA法国分支事务所总监Clément Blanchet回应：“建构大桥只不过并非城市里的触目盛事，反而是大桥本身将为城市里各种盛事获取平台，这才是本项目的意念。我们期望以最简单的手法，带给一个技术上最简单、最直截了当、最生活化但却最有效地的结构方案。
